Cleaning toilet thread.

How do you clean the bog brush?

And is a silicone one now preferred to a bog standard bristled one?

I just have a bristle one. It gets soaked in cleaner and when the toilet is cleaned with it I hold it in the bowl when I flush to rinse it. When it's looking a bit worn I replace it, same as with the scrubbing brush I use on the bathroom tiles.

I don't have one, filthy things, but if I did, I'd clean it by pouring a load of bleach into the bowl and standing the brush in it for a few hours.

Don't need a brush (cannot imagine the results after using one). Squirt of bleach under rim, around bowel and left in pan for a while is enough to keep it clean.

Is it wrong that I winced at the thought of bleach under the rim and around the bowel?

I pour bleach in the bog bowl and stand my bog brush in that.
