As a young child what terrified you the most?
Public safety films warning of flying kites near power lines and poison stored at farms had me crippled with fear!

Being a grown up and not knowing all the dance moves and words people use when a dance breaks out.
Yes, I think I watched too many musicals as a kid 
Yes, I did ask my parents "How do I know what to sing and dance when I'm older?", which understandably confused them a bit. |

As somebody who is particularly scared of heights (beyond what is normal or sensible), John Noakes climbing up Nelson's Column on Blue Peter scared the crap out of me. If you don't know what I'm talking about, give this a whirl...

I used to be scared of that, till I was sheltering out of the rain under the only tree for miles, when the lightning started. I then cycled 10 miles home in it.
After watching jaws, I was terrified of the sea. I know great whites don't come too close to the UK, but they could be there waiting.
After losing my sight in my eye, I found it hard to be out in crowds as I never saw people beside me. |
