"For me its The Lion King "
You really should, or if not the film, the stage production is great
I never wanted to see Slumdog Millionaire but needed up seeing it when at a cinema night with a friend and the film we wanted to see was sold out. It was a shit as I thought it was going to be. If I hadn’t seen it then it would be that one. |

As you Op, never seen The Lion King.
Also never seen Mary Poppins as I don’t particularly like musicals. So …
Seven brides for seven brothers.
West Side Story.
Calamity Jane.
Paint your wagon.
However I did like Grease …
Stop bloody singing and get on with the story. |

"Seen all the batman films including the lastest but never watched the Joker "
To be fair, its barely a Batman movie.
Removed the name Joker, Wayne, and Gotham and you have a movie trying to be Oscar bait.
Very similar to how 10 Cloverfield Lane and The Cloverfield Paradox were standalone scripts that they decided to include in the franchise by tacking the alien/monster on at the end and slapping Cloverfield in the title. |

"Star Wars , have not seen one of them and have no intention of doing so either.
Yep, this would be my biggest. Never was or ever will be my thing..."
Just see a New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. Preferably without the added cgi. |

Most films I haven't watched. Those I have I may have watched on fast forward for periods.
Certainly nothing for the last 5 years or so.
Except the latest Bond...which I started to read my Kindle for for the last 35 minutes. What utter bollocks that was.

"Avatar. It just doesn’t appeal to me at all.
You arent missing much to be fair"
I imagine it’s similar to The Smurfs. A bunch of blue fuckers all trying to get in Smurfettes knickers |

Blue CGI people having sex on another planet?
Yep, I skipped it too"
This sounds a bit more interesting than the official synopsis |

"I haven’t seen Deliverance but that’s about to change
Brilliant film …you’ll take up the banjo and never look at a bacon butty the same afterwards "
I’ve seen the Duelling Banjos scene on YouTube - brilliant especially when you know how they did it. Billy Redden couldn’t play the banjo at the time.. he has since learned it
Bacon? I love bacon….. |

"Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, Apparently this is appalling behaviour "
I’ve seen both a few times. I’ll probably need to run for cover after saying this but Harry Potter is 10x better than Lord of the Rings. |

It’s 3 hours of hobbits walking from one destination to another. I found it boring. |

As a Scottish historian especially around that period I deliberately didn’t watch Braveheart because of the historical shit
Biggest historical lie is William Wallace wasn’t Braveheart, that title belonged to Robert Bruce
Same as Mary Queen of Scot’s movie that has lesbian relationship between Mary and Elizabeth when the 2 Queens never actually met each other
I wish Americans would fuck off when doing a biopic about this country
Then again they even fuck up their own historic biopics |

Agree with all you said
Americans seem to have a fascination with a specific portrayal of Scottish and Irish people that leaves out a lot of great achievements and removes the human side from the stories.
They do mess up their own more though .
But for the movie pick it would have to be by far the Godfather or Shawshank redemption. |
