Just trying to steal some bed back off the collie. He doesn't sleep on here but when we're awake he thinks it's ok to jump on and take up the whole bed x |

My dog starts off under my bed and ends up next to me at some point during the night. She takes up two thirds of the bed and gets annoyed if I try and reclaim any of it….
I have four cats too but if they were to sleep on my bed at night I might as well go and sleep on the sofa as they would leave me no space! When I’m on nights I let them sleep on the bed with me during the day |

No our cat's stay locked downstairs at night.
We have tried to let them have the run of the house at night but they are a total pain in the arse and always without fail wake us up around 4 am.
So we have given up. |

My Strocker starts underneath the duvet around my feet, and by the time I wake up, her head is on my pillow and her body under the duvet with her nails in my back *ouch* |

"Yes !! X my doggy used to sleep right in between my legs , under the covers , every night.
I miss her
That’s a fantastic position!! Clever dog !!!"
Haha she knew it was the warmest place x haha!!
Then when she’d get too hot, she’d get on top the bed, cool down and then barge back in between my legs |

Do you bunk down with them on a rota? |

If dogs stink then they need a bath. Dogs are not supposed to stink"
Ours stinks due to her severe allergies. She is bathed in prescription shampoo every couple of days. |

My little Jack Russell used to sleep on my bed. He used to wait till he thought I was asleep then sneak in under the covers.
We had to have him put to sleep a year ago but had him 11 years.
I still miss him |

They used to. I'd often wake up to a pussy or 2 on me.
One of my cats went blind before he passed and he could get up on things but not down so after a couple of poop episodes he was banished to the kitchen over night.
The other one has gone blind now and similar issues. She also can't be arsed to go find her litter tray when she sleps so just gets up and pisses wherever she is. She is also banished to the kitchen overnight and when I'm not here. |

My friend's dog has a skin condition and she uses a medical shampoo. It sort of smells of antiseptic. I love smelling her dog when she comes round. |

That's so cute.
Cat or dog? |

When I was very young I sneaked my dog into the bedroom and let him snuggle up at the end of the bed.
As the night progressed he stretched out leaving me in a corner and when I pushed him away growled!
No dog of mine growls at me twice, instant expulsion into the farm yard!
Lesson learned, no dogs on my bed.... Ever! |

All dogs smell, dog owners don't notice it but non dog owners can smell it as soon as they go into a house that has them, and yes they do often stink. The thought of fucking or even laying in a bed that animals have slept in makes me feel sick |

My sheepdog loves my bed!!!! I have satin sheets though, so have to put a blanket on the bed cos her claws often pull threads out.
She will often start out by laying by my side to my right, then she will sit up with her back to me, then just flop over my chest for her cuddles, honestly, she is such a wet wipe but I love her to bits.
She often falls off the bed too, and she always looks to me as if I am to blame, the cheek |

Very rarely do my dogs sleep with me. They won't stay on top of the covers, and wedge themselves up against me, making me very uncomfortable.
They also fidget terribly.
I let them up if I'm scared or it's freezing cold, then change my bedding the next day.
My boy dog makes me laugh though as he likes to sleep with his head on the pillow and body under the duvet.

They sleep on dog beds, on my bed.
My dogs are clean and groomed often. There is no "dog smell" coming from them - raw diet sees to that.
Bedding (mine and dogs) is changed once a week.
I've even asked my extremely honest and blunt friends and family, there is zero dog scent that can be traced by human senses within my home. |

My bed used to be a no dog zone but when I had to take on a second job that means I'm working 17 hour days I feel really bad for him. So now, 2 nights a week, my little pom is allowed to sleep with me if he wants |

My kittens sleep in my room. Either on a chair cuddled together or the buggers open the drawers under the bed and get in there. Generally one of them wakes me up by biting my elbow |

He's not woken me up during the night once since I got him 18 months ago. Once he sense movement in the morning though he'll stick his arse in my face....which usually does the trick of getting me up |

I always had my lab up in my bed. I didn't allow him on my sofa but that's because I didn't want guests covered in pet hair when they would visit. But he was part of my family, and he wasn't too stinky and I'd always clean his paws when he came in after being out. I loved seeing him snuggled up on my pillow. |

In my younger wilder days, before I became a bit more selective, I woke up next to a few dogs in the morning, and then thought to myself, what the hell was i drinking last night when I fancied her. |

I often wonder, when I see comments like this, what did the women think
Maybe they were equally horrified and awkward? |
