"Work, read, gym, go for a walk, watch documentaries, out with friends, cinema etc.
Not hard to fill your time
Never said it was
If it isn't hard to fill your time, how come you are bored then ?"
Did I say I was bored or did I just ask a question? |

Boredom is a state of mind ......
You shouldn't be like this in this modern day & age! Fair enough in the 70's & 80's... But now? Really????
Here is a "hum dinger." How about you find your Unrelated Identical Twin? You might have one.... I saw this a few days ago. Here is the link:-

You can register for a site & hey presto you can bust a nut (no, not like that!), and stumble on an un-family "looky-likey?" That should keep you busy.... If yer dead lucky you might get to meet them!
If that all goes shit shape then try taking up meditation & reading about Daoism or Buddhism. Death is a good one to look at too! That should keep you busy for a few months.

I get bored quite easily. I have loads of things on the go at any one time, sewing, several books, various craft projects and hobbies. I find this helps but I do find myself twiddling my thumbs now and again I use that time for thinking |

Boredom is a first world problem, there’s potentially so much to but none if it appeals, we seek more meaning from spare time.
Focus on unfulfilled aspirations, self development and doing activities and hobbies that challenge you more and match your skills.
What gets you into a flow state ? For me it’s swimming, perfecting my front crawl, complex fusion cooking and long exposure photography at sunrise , the hours just roll by

When I was a kid I told my mum I was bored. She made me sit at the kitchen table, nothing on it, for about 3 hours without being able to get down. At the end she said “that’s what bored feels like, you have loads to do, gi and find something”.
I never used the word again around her |
