"Ban.
Named after the forum punishment you’re very likely to receive one of these days?
Named after the multiple ones I already have received. "
I’ve only had one. I’m slacking |

"Ban.
Short for Baniel?
Bandrew.
Prince Bandrew?
Possible choice for next user name change.
I’m sure that won’t upset anyone "
Good point.
Wouldn’t want to upset people… |

I've come across a lot of unusual names that have been give n to young people, some first names some middle. Now these are all with western sounding surnames. There are plenty of Asian, African, Eastern European I wouldn't think about them as i don't know what is usual or not in those areas.
Ocean, Vartan, neo, Blade, Cobain, Fuschia, Cherish, Grindlee, Marquise, and a couple of girls who changed their name to Zero and Mono.
Now some of those you can guess what films or bands they like but some are just... hmmm |

I haven't got a middle name. My brother told it was because my Mummy didn't love me enough
It wasn't until a couple of years ago it dawned on me that he didn't have one either....knobhead. And I texted him to tell him he was a knobhead, then I wonder why he never speaks to me |

I hated it when I was at school in the late 70s/early 80s and did my best to conceal it.
The were sniggers from the guests at my first wedding in 1986 when the vicar said it.
It was a name used for a few generations in the family that doesn't seem so bad these days or in Ireland where my family were from.

No, Sebastian was the person who owned the teddy bear not the name of the bear |

Mine isn't really embarrassing. It's one that I've considered removing as it's a religious one but it's not harming me and probably isn't worth the hassle. |
