Depends what it is passing through....Air with no obstruction then yes! Very fast.

Bowl of jelly, still fast

Custard then maybe not so fast because of the density and properties of custard

Exactly! Custard is far more important than space travel! Elon Musk thinking he's all that with his funky space stuff, alls he needs is custard.

It's not as fast as heavy speed though which eventually multiples by its mass to become juggernaut speed but loses mass over distance to eventually lighten, and once finding its critical velocity stabilises but leaves in its wake multiple echoes which in diminishing cycles return to the origional energy source they once was, energy not disappearing but changing then converts to sound or at least creates sound via pressure change effected upon the equilibrium of vacuum then disperses said kinetic energy created resulting in Eddie buying me a pint from the guilt he feels after finding me trying to gas myself in the microwave.

So to conclude, I would love a cup of tea op

"3x10^8 m/s (in round figures)"

I think the 1 is quite a straight figure but I do agree all the others are quite round.

Are you going to connect it to a bambleweeny infinite probability generator?

"No it’s all a lie "

Ah, but according to Terry Pratchett a lie can be half way round the world before the truth has got its boots on. Ergo, lies are very fast

Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.
