Cremation or burial?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I've opted for medical science so hopefully I'll be cut up and used for experiments and to discover new surgical procedures or maybe advance knowledge on whatever I die from.
My dad opted for this and I do know 1 thing he was used for very quickly because of the nature of his death and I find it quite heartwarming that others have potentially lived through him dying |

Whatever is cheapest.
If that fails, ive arranged to leave my body to medical science anyway.
Honestly do not wish to leave any fincial burden from a funeral on my family. Take the life insurance and go have a wild holiday or some such. I'll be dead, couldn't care less what you do with my body. |

Medical science, absolutely free and they cremate you when they're done with you |

Send me to medical research so they can slice my brain and maybe learn something that will help others like me with mental health problems like depression, anxiety, PTSD, agoraphobia.
If that's not possible just chuck me in the brown wheelie bin and send me off to compost. |

Pop me in the wheelie bin is fine with me. Obviously we don't want dead bodies littering the place but aside from that I have no preference, funerals are for the people left behind a corpse has no feelings about anything.

Cremation - I don’t want to be forgotten in some dirty grave and left to rot… or worse be put in a grave with some stranger who may have been there 10 years or more |

Cremation for both wife and I but with a twist.
Whoever goes first the other keeps the ashes and then when they die both sets of ashes are mixed together and then burried at a much loved spot of ours. |

Yes that's what we will do. |

"Completely green eco burial if I can have it. "
Is this like Woodland burial? I'd like that.
Apparently they bury you vertically (takes up less room) and then plant a tree of your choice on you. I love cherries so a cherry tree for me please. |

"Whatever is the most green friendly option at the time.
Neither cremation nor traditional burial are great from that point of view. "
How about being Fish Food?
Sea burial sounds eco friendly? Someone should work out a Sea Burial Funeral business plan and present to the Dragons Den... |

Yes it is. Couldn't think of the name Woodland. I would have a cherry blossom tree because I love how they look when they boom in spring which is my favourite season. |
