So, I’m currently on my bed, literally sipping coffee from a metal straw cos I am getting my teeth bleached and have to keep the trays overnight for 3 nights (as mine are already pretty white but need top up)
It’s a total pain in the arse , and I think I found the way around being able to swallow coffee without ruining what I’m doing  I’m feeling so smug!
Anyway, are you happy with your gnashers? Do you like a good smile? X do you still have all your teeth? Would you have anything done to them?
I’m overall happy with my smile
I still have all my teeth minus the last tooth on the right that I sadly had to remove because my wisdom tooth fucked it (still got all 4 wisdom teeth )

Don’t, total oral fixation here too!! at least I’m not alone, I swear I’m trying my dentist to shave .1mm my lateral incisors cos I want them a teeeny bit shorter. Cos it looks youthful and feminine. I bet she thinks I’m crazy

I like my smile. I had braces as a teenager and it was definitely worth it. I have all my teeth apart from the ones they removed for my braces. I do have enamel erosion on the right side though from grinding my teeth due to stress which means I have quite bad sensitivity. |

Mine go in a bit and I hate it but would have to have my jaw broken to sort it  . I have them whitened. I’m a bit lazy with it though. I’ve got all the proper stuff here (bought from the dentist) but I always forget to do it and the tray things aren’t that comfortable. |

Did you have crowns or veneers? X I know some who had veneers and had the shark teeth shave technique done to them (they got them for free…), and Even tho results are great I think they will regret the decision in 15 years down the line.
But done properly, I think it is amazing what dentists can do x |

I really dislike my teeth and my smile
I only have little teeth, they aren't prominent and, where possible, I don't show them
The lower set at the front are uneven and there is chip out of the corner of one of them
They aren't pearly white, but I'm over 50 and never had any cosmetic dentistry
I've thought about getting them done but I'd look a dick with a Rylan smile |

Thanks to the wonders of genetics I inherited a small jaw and large teeth. Age 14 I was offered a brace and the removal of 4 teeth. I'd have had to wear it for 4 years. Plus a retainer for life. I refused. I don't regret it. I have slightly wonky teeth. Doesn't bother me. I also have a couple of fillings and a crown. I only ever grew 3 wisdom teeth, one of which has been pulled for growing sideways and being impossible to clean properly. They're also slightly off white. But I was incredibly insulted when my dentist asked if I'd considered whitening them. I considered that very rude of him.
I'm perfectly happy with my teeth. They work. I'm massively low maintenance when it comes to my appearance and body, so would never be interested in changing them. |

I have all my teeth but didn't really look after them well growing up and have a filling and a couple of crowns after root canal treatment.
I also have a bit of crowding which I don't like and been looking at those Smile Direct Club aligners but been ummm-ing and ahhhh-ing over the price for a while. Nit a huge fan of my smile so tempted to just take the plunge. |

I had my teeth done about 16 months ago. My old teeth were ok but I knew the imperfections so I just felt unhappy.
I decided to go for veneers, I know people have their own opinions but for me it's the best thing I've ever done.

I think 5% is probably the reason why it doesn’t whiten enough?
You might have to go up to 16-22% but I think those gels can only be sold by dentists x for safety reasons x |

Be careful with the whitening gels, that’s what ruined the enamel on my teeth and caused some of them to crumble. I’d been using whitening gel with dentist trays, all given by the dentist and over time and repeated use it absolutely destroyed some of my teeth. |

I was daft really. Because the dentist had given it to me and kept giving it to me, I assumed that I could use it regularly. I was wrong. It wrecked my lower back teeth. Now they’ve been removed and I have beautiful implants. |

I hate mine, lost some due to health issues & set to lose 9 more ?? I have a plate which doesn’t fit, I have constant pain from one, which keeps getting irritated, some of them it’s just roots because the crowns came out & can’t go back in. Aside from that I have an undershot jaw |

I use a product called Snow.
I put the gel on my teeth, then sit for 15 minutes with a UV gum shield in. Have to do it once a week for top up...I wonder if I'm damaging my teeth now |

I agree - also destroys your gums if they leak slightly. In my opinion whitening kits to be used at home should be banned. |
