There is expected to be a shortage due to the flooding & high temperatures in Canada last year.
It’s the Canadian seed that gets shipped to make a lot of the mustard, so won’t just be french mustard effected. Lack of available seeds and prices of base crops rising, causing a real problem for supply. |

I've never actually given that much thought into it.. Now I'm curious.. Is all mustard from the same seed, just different recipes? |

Yes there are different types of mustard seeds, so each one has its own blend, process of how they use the seeds and additional ingredients |
