Clean the kitchen cupboards, sort out the wardrobes for something cathartic, drink lots of freshly brewed coffee and eat a lot of cake and chocolate and in the evening open a bottle of good wine and eat a mountain of fresh prawns with a nice baguette whilst listening to Aretha Franklin or Anita Baker and reminiscing |

Forgot to add that will also take a long nice walk in the countryside as I love nature and makes me relax and feel good |

Log cabin, opened up to a lake with the sun rising over the water, nobody around with just the sound of wildlife. Chilled bottles of cider in the fridge and a good book. That's if it's only me of course.....I'd prefer to get rid of the book and exchange it for a naked lady |

"I'm alone quite often for 48 hours, and just get on with normal things "
I don't get (make) time for normal things. If I had 48 hrs to myself, I probably still wouldn't do that, as much as I may need to - I think I'd end up doing something creative and pigging out on chocolate and cake.
Thought for the day -
Can I order someone on Uber to do my normal things?!
Fancy joining me for something creative?

Nothing too exciting. Lots of work, walk the dog, fuss the cat, eat good food and rest. Maybe watch some TV or a few films and a box set or perhaps start reading a new series of books. If it is Summer then the same but in the garden and the food would be on the barbecue. |

I’m never alone even though I allegedly live alone and work from home ! 48 hours alone Sounds like bliss..
Probably just reading books, playing guitar, watching great movies and slobbing around the house in winter with the fires full of wood and coal, snow outside and really good food , wine, whisky might even have time for a bath. |

Christ I can't remember ever having 48 hours all to myself since I was 16 years old. Jeez.
I would take myself off to the coast and go for a long walk on the beach. I would come home and light the log burner, and read a book with some music on in the background. I'd have an early night and a good night's sleep. Then repeat for the next 24 hours. |

I’m assuming that I live in an ideal world so there’s no housework to be done?
In which case, I’d repeat 48 hours I had over the August bank holiday in 2015 (the last time I had 48 hours alone)

This would be an ideal situation for me. Love my own company and pottering about at home; eating, napping, watching a good film or box set, reading, listening to music, playing with the dog.
Sigh.
Love it. |

I'd turn my phone off, have a lovely hot shower and pamper myself then settle down with a book and a coffee. Then at night have a curry, more wine and watch films. Repeat the following day |
