What were your favourite c64 games? My husband used to play one with a little man digging around, collecting cherries I think. It may have had Freddy in the title.

If there's any mistakes I will cry.

Frantic Freddie? I don't think that was cherries though.

I used to love The New Zealand Story and the Dizzy games, pretty infuriating at times. James Pond 2 Robocod had some exciting looking levels to me at that age.

I've tried some emulators but it's not the same, having to sit through 3 minutes of loading screens is part of the experience that's lacking

I had c16 then the 64.

Am a full loving gamer but found games then were just so better lol yes graphics and story etc now are amazing but I always struggled to beat games and the nightmare of dying and then having to rewind the tape etc to load point was nightmare.

Love the retro I always look at the c64 on Amazon and tempted to get now

Roll a golf ball across the Z & X keys, to make Daley run faster. Sadly it used to eventually damage the keyboard as a result

That’s okay. Most of us started going down once we’d discovered the opposite sex. Others once they’d discovered it was okay with the same sex too.
