it is because this platform is approximately 99% men. so statistically speaking, you are more likely to be looked at by men irrespective of your sexual bias.
Analysing my historical data shows that 100% of the winks and messages come from men or TV / TS and 0% from women.

They might be speaking to a woman you have verified and are checking out the completion.
They may not actually be that straight.
Also they looked at you and in return you have looked at them (you must have done to know they are straight) so now you have looked at another straight man and will show on their looked at list.
Why worry if they are only looking?
Also a lot of women use stealth mode and won't show on your list. It doesn't mean they didn't look.

There is a lot of slapdash reading going on on this thread. He did specify straight men rather than gay or bi.
However, his somewhat blinkered first question has been adequately answered by those who have pointed to all the other reasonable motives which tempt viewing regardless of any persuasion.

I think this is the most likely reason.
I doubt many trawl through the profiles of other men.
A further point to be made, might be the pictures. Some guys have action pictures which could attract views of males.
I get men liking my pictures in this regard. I don’t lose sleep over it, nor does it make me feel insecure about my sexuality. |

Yes; I messaged the guy who used my Fab profile for himself, asked him why he couldn't make his own instead of lifting mine? He replied with "But you write so well...." He deleted the profile soon after, before I reported him |

No because all 3 of them blocked me after stealing what they needed. I only found out because someone else saw the cloned profile and told me and in the other 2 occasions they messaged people I knew and when challenged by them became extremely abusive.
One of them was a regular forum poster at the time and continued to be for a long time after despite being reported.
As I already said I wasn't flattered at all. |

First of all,these men don't know you are straight till they look at your profile,and to do that,they have to,well,you know,look at your profile?

Why do you even look? Particularly if it’s going to wind you up!
What does it matter who’s viewed? It’s not like you get paid per view!
Lots look in stealth anyway, I’ve also clicked on loads accidentally. I’m not sure that looking at views gives any value? |

You can't tell a guy is staright before clicking (in many situations at least)
And then, a gut with two meets from men, and who hasn't said not looking for single males... That can attract suspicions of fab straight.
(Not always the cases. Some ppl do the socials and chats) |

it is because this platform is approximately 99% men. so statistically speaking, you are more likely to be looked at by men irrespective of your sexual bias.
Analysing my historical data shows that 100% of the winks and messages come from men or TV / TS and 0% from women.
Basically, women don't initiate winks or messages on fab...
