Here is a new one for me.
After all the years I have been on the fab sites, today is the first time I have seen a forum thread with -1 replies. Clicked on it and it said I didn’t have permission to view it which is probabbly why it said -1. Guess it was removed or something.
Such an astounding thing to see I had to share. Just when you think you’ve seen it all on the fab forums! Has anyone else seen minus number replies on threads? |

"It may be that admin had just removed the thread. Is it still visible?"
The topic is still visible when you search for it but if you try to open it, it says I don’t have permissions for it. |

"Do a forum search for it if you can remember the title. It may of been moved to a more suitable area in the forums "
Nope it’s just sat there saying -1 and the “newest reply” is “over a year ago”. |

As a software developer most languages get a -1 value when the item becomes invalid. Think of the contents of a set. 0 is empty and 1+ when things are in it. To delete the set in a computer the language may send a message to set the amount of items in that set to -1 so the software just deletes it as invalid. It's probably a software issue that the developers didn't pick up during testing. There are a few I've noticed on the site but then again I do this all the time.

Yes this
And I totally understand it all, I especially understand the bit about not recognising like minus ones and that it. I am extremely good at knowing this type of stuff, the best, people tell me all the time how good I am at knowing computer stuff and minus numbers |
