OK. Its steak and BJ day, which is all well and good.

However what do I do if my daughter calls me and asks me how to cook a steak for her bf?

I'm not ready for this level of adult.

Help please!!

She could just be asking how to cook a steak?

Preheat pan and do not use salamander more commonly called the grill. Heat from below beats from above every time.

Ensure steak is room temperature when you start cooking.

Let the steak see the pan and then put it on a plate and serve.

Turn off the heat, we only turn it on for effect.

My son asked me to show him how to cook a steak a few years ago.

Not everyone uses Google.

He wasn't giving anyone a blow job after; he's just a novice at cooking.

How C eats his steak, tbh might as well just slap the cow and serve it, then we're on to a winner.

And yes send her to Google

If you know then why deprive him of a well cooked steak?

I'd be more stuck for words if she asked you how to prepare for the other part!

More importantly, cook it in butter.

You season the meat first, just some salt and pepper. Then you make sure the pan is really hot before putting the steak in. The really important things are - only turn the steak once AND allow it to rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

That is the advice you wanted, right?

I'm fully aware of the mechanics of cooking a steak. It's just the inference of anything... my brain refuses to accept it.

Game changer but use a quality garlic granules as well.

I took my daughter to see Avenue Q a few years ago. Apparently it was a little risqué.

I was *not* prepared to sit and watch full on muppet sex with her sat next to me, with the song "the Internet is for porn" being sung.

You forgot about letting it rise to room temp first, although depending on the size of the steak I would also consider the reverse sear method. Hot pan, lots of butter with some crushed garlic cloves and rosemary. I also use an amazing morell and porcine salt to season the steak with.
