A few thing or people particularly stir negative emotions. However,
self opinionated, lacking compassion, loud, rude and aggressive individuals unfortunately do if their behaviour impacts on my own peaceful existence. |

Thank you, I like to remain balanced
I do have sympathy for those brexit voters who were genuinely fooled by The brexit lies and anti European bullshit that was bandied about (pretty much unchallenged by the media)
What I would say is, though, there is such a thing as critical analysis which most people learn as they grow up…. People should learn to challenge information that is fed to them by people who do not have their interests in their hearts |

People who live on benefits and refuse to work despite being perfectly capable of working and their situation would improve drastically if they did.
A sibling of mine is like this and asked to borrow money several times the last few weeks, told where to go.
If they had been working and still struggling I would have helped.

You see, people may not have the confidence to change. They may not feel they're worth it or capable. I have sympathy for that mindset coz it's usually born from trauma or ongoing emotional neglect as a child.

I didn't say they weren't. I just have no sympathy for someone who has voted a party in for 10 years that has either failed to deal with these problems or made them considerably worse and who then complains about the problems.
These forums would run a lot smoother if people read what was written and didn't look for sub texts - at least as far as my posts are concerned. I generally take a great deal of care to say exactly what I mean and wherelever possible not imply anything I didn't mean. They would also run better if we all realised that other people expressing one particular idea doesn't necessarily mean they also espouse a whole set of other ideas that we assume go together. It's not an easy concept to follow though ....

Yes! That's him, Tim Martin! The guy that told his staff that furlough money would take too long to come through and they should go get jobs in a supermarket.
Yep, Tim Martin. The one who pays some of his staff about 10% below the national average, just a little bit below the National Living Wage. (figures from UK.indeed.com and Gov.uk).
In fairness, if they are on longer shifts they can get subsidised meals. Lucky them, they get to eat with all those customers who often treat them like shit.
Thank goodness Tim was able to survive on his £448 million fortune.
