We are just sat here listening to tunes on you tube.

What modern music can you think of that has a classical twist or includes an orchestral element.

An example would be Vienna - Ultravox

KG & PNG

Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

We were listening to a bit of 'bardcore' earlier. Modern music with a medieval twist. You can thank us later

Two of the best live shows I’ve seen, albeit on video have been rock acts with orchestras.

Metallica with the San Francisco orchestra.

Bring me the horizon with the Parallax orchestra.

Both Epic!

You are welcome, they released 4 versions of Quutamo, instrumental and with vocals in German, French and English respectively.

Their genre is very eclectic and covered some Metallica tracks in a classical style. Love them

The tunes I have chosen are all Drum & Bass tracks that were really special to me.

If anyone was to search for them and hasn’t listened to much DnB before you might wanna scan through it if you think it’s just drums… as with most dance music they are made for mixing and although I think you should always listen to something in full I’m under no illusion that sometimes the intros sound very empty and are just beats compared to songs…..

Uncut - midnight

Roni size - it’s a jazz thing (Utah jazz remix)

Renegade - Terrorist

High contrast - racing green

I could go on and on all night and have them all on vinyl so I’m sharing a part of my soul with you
