Have you ever had an argument in your head about something that hasn't happened and potentially never will where you are both sides of the argument?? ....or is it just me that's clearly going insane?

There’s a lot in here that could cause an argument in a phone box

It's called catastrophising I believe. Or spiraling, one of the two. Almost like you're preparing the argument?

"So like a moral dilemma?"

No like maybe a situation that may or may not happen or a conversation about something, or more accurately a conversation that may happen but you play out the worst case in your head and have the argument with yourself....haha its fucking madness

Sometimes in my head I imagine a scenario (usually one with a favourable outcome for me ), then I snap out of it, and am mildly surprised that it didn’t happen.

I am aware this makes me sound totally coco pops, but is this what you mean?!

I frequently have arguments in my head with people in my work life, in my head. Saves me doing it for real x

I make little bets with myself inside my head. Like sort of challenging myself to do completely pointless stuff and then reward myself if I do it

In the west.

I have discussions in my head with management. That way when I do have the discussion I don't go way over the top.

If anyone works in education you might know what I mean.

Haha I do this too! And I always feel a little sense of accomplishment if I achieved it, for instance when I walk the dog I throw the ball for her ill sent myself a challenge to land the ball on a certain spot or roll between two points and am very persistent to get goal! The dog loves it haha
