That's right, your loaf of bread. Presuming you still eat it of course.
An 800g loaf lasts less than 2 days in this house. And if I go posh and get a tiger loaf or anything else fresh it can be gone in a few hours. I think my children could live on sandwiches.
Do you have a favourite loaf? Do you like it crusty or soft? Do you like to cut the crusts off? This is a safe space to discuss all things yeast related |

Between toast for me and occasional sandwiches for lunch for me and my daughter I’d say it’s usually 3-4 days.
I prefer a brown loaf or a brown seeded one but my partner prefers white. I’ve managed to persuade her to get best of both these days. Used to like the tiger loaf from the co op too. |

M&S do great fresh bread. So do Parsons when it comes to sourdough. Winnie’s also great. I’ve started freezing half a loaf, however, as I don’t tend to get through more than a few slices at a time.
