When I hear my dog sprinting down the stairs when I've come home. And at the moment whilst my father is in hospital, I send a TikTok every day for him to grade. I choose one every night and then put it on WhatsApp. After getting 5/10 relentlessly, this week I sent one of koalas (we are expat Aussies) and got 11/10. I made my dad happy. |

"Coming home from work and finding your son cleaning the kitchen
What is this magic?!
He was bored "
My kids seem to be always bored and no-one has cleaned the kitchen yet... sigh |

"I've just got a small insulated travel mug holder for my bike.
My 3am cycle rides to work are now way better than they have been "
Gregg’s are giving a free coffee if you buy a reusable travel coffee cup. I’m pleased with that |

"Days where running feels effortless.
Mr
Effortless yet still immeasurably boring"
Nope, effortless and enjoyable, maybe in spring sunshine with birdsong and fresh green shoots filling the hedgerows, or perhaps the sound of a river running in its rocky bed or the scent of honeysuckle on a summer evening.

My crazy parrot, no matter how down I might be to hear him laugh, bob his head to music on the TV and tell me to "go on, fuck off" always brings a smile to my face, yep animals, unconditional love X |

In the west. |
I'm lucky enough to have a hill outside of the town that I can walk up. The views are amazing, I can see way up passed Ben Lomond and on to the Arrocher Alps, about 100 miles away. During the summer I can sit on the grass and watch the firey sun setting behind Arran & the Paps of Jura. |

"The magnificent view from my front door. I've lived here 13 years and it still amazes me and makes me smile daily."
I think your neighbours will say the same thing when they look at your front door. |

"Seeing rabbits on the grass verges in wallet morning’s or dusk. Squirrels playing.
A stranger saying hello as they walk past.
So many things I am really easily pleased "
I remember seeing a hare for the first time, running across a field at dawn. I actually gasped and shed a tear. |

Hi op. For me it’s the way my sod gets soooooo excited when I get home from work/a night out. His delight is infectious. Also - the pure pleasure of finally finding a loo when you’re desperate for a pee. Almost as good as a shag! |

"Seeing the plants in my garden start to wake up"
So exciting isn't it.
I've grown plants most of my life and the sheer thrill of seeing a tiny bud or a seed germinating makes me feel like I could feed the world. |

"Realising there IS one more biscuit left in the packet

Yes! I remember finding After Eights in the ends of the empty box at Christmas when I was a child and I'm pretty sure I got away with scoffing them all. |

You 2 would look a bit dodgy hanging around a field with a pair of binoculars, you'll get yourselves a reputation |

At this time of year, I'm still waiting by the way.
They're no out yet.
It has to be the new born lambs joyfully experiencing the new world around them when I'm on my rounds.

I know exactly what you mean. Twice this week I met the apple of my eye with her mum and she ran to me with her arms wide open and gave me a biggggg cuddle. |
