I have an iPhone SE 2020

For some bizarre reason when I call my local council (landlord) they cannot hear me, when they call me they still cannot hear me.

This has been going on for over a year as it happened on my previous phone too (iPhone 5 SE) but I can speak to other people without an issue….

Is it me? Is it them? Aliens? Gremlins? Have I done something that’s turned off the right to speak to the local council?

Insert your SIM into another iPhone (borrow a friend's) and then try again. If it works fine then you may need to reset your iPhone ('factory' reset).

If however the problem persists then ask for a new SIM...and then try again.

I dont think this will be a problem with actually phone as you are not having any issues with other calls.

Have you spoken to your sim provider, that would be my first port of call

And if that does not work then try moving to a new area and call the local council there. If that works then you’ll know it is not your handset
