I had a few messages in my inbox from people I’d been chatting too, but suddenly most have disappeared, I haven’t deleted them all (some I intended to keep as friends with them, but they have gone too) I know messages will disappear if the person leaves, but these guys are still here and on my friends list |

"I've had this before but it might be me taking too long to respond "
A guy I was chatting to has blocked me - probably for that reason, maybe he thought if I could do instant replies on one day I could do them all the time, but even I have to work sometimes and since it’s illegal to use your phone when driving…. Oh well plenty more fish … |

I meant that eventually I think fab deletes them for server space or something technical I don't really understand . |

If the sender deleted the message does it stay in the receivers inbox?
I tend to delete messages I’ve sent as soon as I see the receiver has been on line, regardless of whether it’s been read. Just wondering |

I have been chatting to some here no problems at all ,always said the right thing but sometimes.. sometimes..when l'd wake the following morning the messages are gone and l've been blocked and the same person is still on the site , l have no problems at all with the messages gone and being blocked ..none whatsoever..not every shoe fits but I would like to know why the conversation ended and have been blocked but l never will, some people here just delete and block and you will never know why ..that's the way it goes. |

"I assume they haven't blocked you? "
This was really useful – I didn't know blocking someone made your messages disappear.
I got a message yesterday that I was looking forward to replying to. I went to respond today, only to find that it had entirely vanished. This post led to me discovering the person had now blocked me. Guess I didn't reply fast enough! Oh well. |
