So dear old Gideon (George) Osborne couldn't tell the difference between 1st class and 2nd class on the train today then?
Tut tut.....
fancy expecting the Chancellor of the Exchequer to have such a commanding grasp of mathematics...
Wonder if he called the ticket inspector a Pleb....?
Oh yes, and Sayonara Andrew Mitchell...

He knew what he was doing, he paid for a standard ticket while sitting in first class, so he could claim on expenses for a first class ticket.
Unfortunately he got caught this time, we wonder how many times has he got away with it. |

have to admit that cannot understand why DC allows his minions to act like this and still retain their job - whilst still blaiming that awful last socialist government for our financial woes ...
would bet that if he gave his mates a demotion for such transgressions then would soon stop and public opinion would veer back their direction

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
DC will just say that everyone makes mistakes and should be given a second chance. Unless you do something similar and happen to be poor, then you should be locked up and made an example. |
