Cut them in half, coat in olive oil spray, rub cinnamon along the cut half, put them in the oven skin side up.

I use that for my meal prep with buttered green beans and BBQ seasoned chicken breast and it's genuinely one of my favourite recipes

Cut into wedges, then onto a baking tray with chicken breast, onion wedges, peppers and a couple of tomatoes (cut in half). Cover in oil and lots of Cajun seasoning, mix it up so it’s all coated and bake in oven at 180 until cooked through. Serve with wraps and sour cream/guacamole if you can be bothered.

They boil pretty fast so you could use them as a topping to shepherds pie, if you add a parsnip, butternut squash, maybe swede it's lovely. As soon as they've boiled you'll need to drain well, pat dry and add a little salt as they are watery. Add some butter, gas mark has to be high 220 or they don't crisp.

Sweet potato wedges are better than chips. Drizzle some oil over, you don't need much. Stick some herbs & spices on, anything you have - garlic, basil, oregano, smoked paprika, fajita seasoning, salt, pepper, rub them all over, gas mark 200, 25mins turning once. Have with whatever you've usually have chips with - good with bolognaise.

I've used them in Mediterranean veg, but you'll need peppers, carrots, cauliflower, parsnip, butternut squash, beans, broccoli, asparagus + olive oil & herbs. It's nice but timing of ingredients is hard to explain.

They won't hold together enough to use in a curry so don't do that

Cube them, add chunks of chorizo, fry, add onion, sweetcorn, oregano.

Second pan, tiny bit of oil. Lay in a wrap, fill one half of the wrap with the sweet potato and chorizo, sprinkle over mozerella or cheddar.

Turn folded wrap over, lightly brown other side, till cheese is melted.

Take it out, slice.

And you have some fine ass quasadillas.

If I've got ingredients some not sure to do with them I always have a look at the BBC goodfood website as there is loads of great stuff on there.

I beg to differ except we let ours disappear to aid the creation of a delicious curry sauce.
