Gentlemen - and ladies (and whateveries) - do you miss wearing a suit for work? [åssuming that you wore a suit for work]
Whilst I'm perfectly content in my casual attire for 'home working', I miss it immensely. The sartorial approach was always more than just symbolic. It effused an impeccable feeling of positivity and goodness in me.
Let's all rejuvenate the suit...... |

I love wearing suits
Whether a man’s suit whilst in drab
Or a skirt suit while dolled up.
It is frustrating that people assume you have been to a wedding, funeral, christening or court when people see me out in a suit |

In the west. |
I didn't wear suit before Lockdown but I did wear a shirt and trousers.
I now wear more casual clothes, denims and a polo shirt, but I need to get away from those as they give me a feeling that every day is a day off. The hybrid way of working is the route cause of it.
I should, and I do like, wearing clothes that are only for work. |

You're missing a 'suit photo' in your photographic compendium. |

No. Unless its needed for protective or identification reasons work uniforms are bull shit and give no indication of the competency of the person.
A lot if the people I knew who wore them for work had 1 or 2 sad looking examples that they wore.
Others were just pompous cockwipes who felt their attire made them better than others. |

Not at all i dont work from home but covid has moved me away from formal & my staff. We discussed going back to formal but everyone prefers informal now.
Im generally based shop floor but everyday i wore a suit then changed into overalls, quite honestly i dont miss the feel. |

I've always leaned heavily on the casual part of our smart casual office wear. But it did feel nice to dress up when I had to go to court for work a few months ago.
If a suit makes you feel good, you'll look good and comfortable. And there's nothing sexier than a man dressed smart who feels confident and sexy |

Recently returned from a cruise where there was a Black Tie evening. I also took a suit and wore that with shirt, no tie.
Was great to get tarted up, so yes, I miss wearing a suit. |

"I’ve never owned a suit.

I'll meet you at Savile Row (or skid row) and go hunting for a whistle and flute for you."
It’s on my list of ‘to do’ as it happens. When I reach my fitness goals, I’ve promised myself a tailored suit. Not sure I can stretch to Savile Row mind you.

I’ve moved away from the usual skirt and jacket tailored suit to smart formal dresses and jackets.
I absolutely totally refuse to wear trousers for work face to face meetings. I’m attending a meeting next week which has been designated a ‘dress down/casual’ but if I’m at work I’m at work and casual doesn’t come in to it. |

Well I wear scrubs Everyday and go into work in a tracksuit and as much as that's comfortable, there's something that I miss about wearing a suit, not that I've ever wore one for work but to weddings and special occasions. Plus I look damn good in a fitted one |

I hate wearing suits, like detest it
I actually once told an interviewer I wasn't interested in a job if formal dress was required
Suits (and I do have 3) are strictly the domain of weddings, funerals & christenings |

I think they are uncomfortable and I don't think they suit my build vis-a-vis, I am highly self conscious wearing one and I never relax when wearing one |

I misread it as slut too, haha!
But oh my, I love a man in a crisp, well fitting suit. Conjures up lots of powerplay fantasies! The right suit, aftershave & low tone of voice is a triple threat in my book |

Love a well-made suit, fabulous tailor in Edinburgh, can't recommend highly enough. |

Mr KC wears a very sexy suit to work every day. I enjoy the fact we work together very much. I enjoy it even more as he casually takes it off in the evening, shirt half unbuttoned, his belt loose and cuffs undone. Oooooooft.
Suits are good |

I hate suits. Stuffy collar, shirt coming untucked constantly, constricting tie and blazer. Don't get me wrong, they look good but I'd leave my job if I had to wear one every day. |

I was just reading that covid killed the suit, and it's out of the CPI shopping basket for the first time since 1947.
I still have to bloody wear one.
Off to see if I can find some good deals since there might be a surplus. |

I used to love wearing a suit to work, it was a uniform but we had lots of options to choose from but the best part was it was free!
My job these days doesn’t call for smart wear which also suits me but I did like a uniform |

Is that the "plunge" variety Cougs? Or the underwired?
P.S. the Rigby & Pellar flagship store has now got a quaint little tea shop. In? |

I'll tell Mr KC he should stop wearing his suit to work, in favour of a sports bra |

Women can have standards and wear trousers. The two can coexist. |

Just to clarify my comment referred to the immediately preceeding sentence rather than the start of the paragraph.
But suitably scolded (pun intended) I am off to write out a thousand times: ‘I must not be a misogynist dinosaur’ |

It can for some women yes if that’s their choice |
