The way that it can be extremely calm and peaceful but also change and be the opposite.
Its powerful AF.
It’s mesmerising and always somehow felt connected to the sea |

Definitely my happy place.
Feel such an affinity to it. Love the power of it, how it can overcome anything.
Also love sea creatures, have swam with sharks and love jellyfish (hence the back tattoo!) |

"I am watching about Jacques Cousteau. What do you love about the sea?
Sharks.
Don't forget the sea slugs too "
Those blue nudibranch that float below the surface and eat man'o'war's are pretty cool |

There was a picture of HMS Endurance which was crushed by ice and sank over 100 years ago. Not sure it was genuine. It looked too perfectly preserved. It was Henry Shackleton's ship.. no sea in sight..I doubt it's authenticity |

"I genuinely fear the sea.. too many brave souls taken ..
Look at the sinking of the USS Indianapolis..
Over 600 human lives lost to sharks..
"
That’s nothing. A Roman fleet was lost in the First Punic War with 100, 000 lost. |

It's genuine.
And a very moving discovery it is, too. |

It was about a 150 lost to sharks, others succumbed to their wounds or weather conditions, but hey nothing like an over stating of facts for a different story ! |

The earth’s surface is 71% water.
Sharks inhabit the seas.
The Human heat and Brain are about 73% water.
It’s only a matter of time before they invade.
Don’t tell Tom. |

Reports that these were white tip sharks. People talk about the Great White, the Tiger, these white tips are just as bad as any other shark and they hunt in packs |

Sharks just doing what comes naturally to them Like all predators come into their territory and it’s a risk you take.
Obviously those from a sinking ship had no choice, get in the water or go down with the ship. |

This is why I won’t join the navy.
Well. One of the reasons. A very small one… |

This is why I had limited sympathy for that swimmer who was killed in Australia last month. If you dont want to be killed and eaten by sharks them dont go swimming in shark infested water, it's that simple! |

Haha, true, but define infested? By the number of attacks previously in that area and the amount of coastline, you could easily say they should stay off the land as it’s dingo infested…clearly Aussies should hover, not aware of any killer birds over there… |

"Sharks..
I've always wanted to go in a shark cage.
B
Would you go in a shark cage with one inside the cage with you ?"
You go running through an African plain chances are you are going to get eaten by lions.
Take a stroll through the Everglades then the Gators are going to get you,so if you swim in shark infested water the results are going to be fairly obvious.
Who's the odd one out?
Yup man in a place where he has no right being. |

"Floating 20m plus down as you dive. Everything just feels so serene down there. Especially in Australia where the waters are super clear
At least you can see the buggers coming.."
Aha you're not wrong. Thankfully the only sharks I've seen have been reef sharks whilst snorting. Skittish kittle buggers, hard to photograph! |
