Stationery?

I love a great coloured pencil, rather do colouring in with pencils than felt tips.

well this is difficult. How to choose between the gorgeous sparkly notebooks, funky paper clips or the pens in the shape of aubergines.

most fundamental aspects

Poly pockets. Easy to stuff stuff into and not as annoying as paper clips. Way better than monogamy-pockets

Love good quality, notebooks (sucker for embossed ones) …but unfortunately, so does my youngest, and she’s just so cute! So, I find the back of envelopes are now my go to stationary x

Chams or Socials

Not sure if it counts, but we have an ink roller that blocks out your name & address on correspondence. I bought it because I do a lot of shredding & apparently shredded paper is much harder to recycle. I love that roller…

I like a nice new pencil sharpener when I see it works, cuts a lively sharp point and doesn’t clog up or break the graphite

2h pencil only please

I’m a fan of a rainbow eraser, (in any other forum I would have used the word rubber but didn’t want to cause any confusion!!) especially the ones that smell like sweets

Finally a thread I feel at home in. You can’t beat my lovely (collection of) Kuru Toga mechanical pencils. They have a tiny kinetic ‘engine’ inside that spins the lead ever so slightly each time you press down on paper, so the tip rotates and you never get a flat spot…

My purple ink pen love it, and my cheap and nasty pencil which makes a scratching noise when I use it.

And if we’re talking pens then a nice fine line like the Stabilo point 88 fine 0.4. Looks like a pencil, acts like a pen. Ooohhhh.

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

I have my own Pen with a black Paper Mate/substitute fine/medium refill. Prefer it over a Bic biro - they work for a while then conk out. I have coloured Bic's but they suffer from same problem.

Mine lasts longer & I'm not having to run around like a headless chicken looking for something to scribble on. Grrrrrr!

I do like gel pen's but they don't last when used permanently (sadly).

I like the funky colours on highlighters too! Nice 'N' bright (I know I'm sad...)

Pens.

I love pens. I used to love Parker pens. And I have a special place in my heart for a Blue Bic. It’s just the right shade of blue.
