"What about the innocent people in Russia?
All the other sanctions will effect the general public too, that's part of the point.
Break the country so Putin has to back down. "
Comes to something when the public would crack in the absence of burgers n gherkins...... |

I suspect they're more likely to crack when they lose their jobs, their income and their ability to feed their kids.

Do you really believe this? Ukraine isn't backing down when it's bring bombed to fuck and thousands have no gas or electric. Why on earth would Putin back down coz his citizens are starving and not just turn around and say "I told you the West are a bunch of cunts"

The innocent ones are okay. We don't make them eat the McDonalds.
But they get paid to serve it."
And they will still be paid.

Jeezus can you imagine if they did that in this country.
I mean people having to go without maccers or KFC.
I genuinely think there would be a civil war.
However to contradict myself when the first lockdown kicked off and all the fast food outlets shut people actually started eating healthy for a short time.
But remember those crazy queues once it reopened?

I suppose they are trying to make it difficult for Russia so Putin backs down. But if he's ready to push the button he really doesn't care if the people in his country are suffering due to all the sanctions. |

Exactly and he's probably safe in a bunker somewhere with year's worth of food available.
Possibly even a McDonald's. |

Although... if the Russian people get pissed off enough, maybe they will work to overthrow the government. |
