To cook with yes its great in many applications especially gravy bases, with red meat meals (lasagne for instance) or in stir frys.

I’m the same.

I don’t mind the flavour, it’s the intensity of the spread I don’t like.

It’s the same as mustard. I love mild to medium strengths American and French varieties, but don’t like hot English mustard at all.
