So a woman I work with daughter was born with kidney problems I only know this as was telling her I have to go for a kidney scan on Friday! She said she herself is waiting on test results to b a live doner for her daughter! Such a selfless thing to do! We all would do the same most of us have probably said it and absoulutley meant it! Probably knowing the chances of having to do so very slim! But she is facing that reality! I am so wowed by her can't stop thinking about it! Must be scarey for her! So many emotions I would think x |

Absolutely, I guess if it was for a loved one or offspring and would ultimately save their life (hopefully) I wouldn’t think twice about it.
If it was a randomer or someone I didn’t know but I was the perfect tissue match then I guess it would be a dilemma, on one hand you could literally save a life, on the other hand are you risking yours in case of your own health issues?
Like you say, amazing people and no doubt every range of emotions going through their heads!

Amazing and hopefully most would do the same.
I'd definitely do this for any of my children if they needed one.
Let's hope she's a match and it's a good outcome. Fingers crossed for them xx
