"I’m shocked at the lack of love for black pudding "

I wouldn't eat them for ages because of the thought of themm. Then had one at a greesy spoon and it was absolutely disgusting. That put me off for ages.

Then years later I decided it's actually no worse than a lot of other things we eat, so I gave it another try at a quality restaurant and it was lovely.

More than happy to eat them now. I have a feeling a lot of people who don't want them have probably never given them a proper chance.

I put a lid on the frying pan so it's almost steams the top of the egg. Keeps it healthier than adding lots of oil and flicking over that top. Also still get a runny yoke

East of Eden, West of Hell

I've eaten Black pudding before, and liked it. Then found out what it was and now don't eat it.

I will eat most things, but abhor an egg with runny white. I always ask for my egg to be flipped. It normally means there's no runny yolk, but I'll live with that.

I also don't like pink "flappy" bacon (undercooked) or when there are the white spackles of dried up salt water.

I only like the mushrooms when they're well cooked, but can normally stomach them. It all depends on how undercooked they are.

So I'll eat it, but to be a perfect breakfast, it should all be well done and high quality.

Not that I'm picky, or anything....

Tomatoes. The only thing foodwise other than lamb I don't like.

Tomatoes, whether grilled or tinned. Also undercooked bacon and overcooked fried egg.

Either I have led a very sheltered life or some people have no idea what is typically served in an English breakfast, as items that people say they prefer not to have in their breakfast seem to include jizz, pubes, custard, gravy and yoghurt.

I have never seen any of these items listed on a breakfast menu

Undercooked bacon is a disgrace, where the fat is still white instead of crispy

Thankfully hash browns aren't part of a Full English. I agree with you.
