What can you not be bothered to finish?

You know when you start something - a book, a film, a TV program - and you stop for whatever reason but then can't be bothered to restart?
Normally I read books very quickly and don't have time to get bored and stop. But I've never been able to force myself to finish Lolita or The Sea, The Sea by Iris Murdoch. I just don't care what happens.
A film I saw half of was Parasite. I can see it was a good film, deserved it's Oscar etc. But I just didn't like the characters or want to see what happened to them.
And TV. I watched most of Dexter series 4 with John Lithgow. I still don't know how the series ends. I'm not really bothered.
What hasn't caught your attention? What piece of entertainment failed to entertain? What have you given up on part way through, and why?  |

I forced myself to finish Dexter, wasn't great
Did the same with Breaking Bad. Started and stopped it a few times. Still got 6 or 7 episodes to go and I just can't be bothered, he's a science teacher FFS. Way too over hyped |

Channel 4 ruined walking dead for me.
Advertised the hell out of it. Rick Grimes finding his with this, Rick Grimes finding his wife that. I waited til season one was finished, sat down in anticipation and in episode 3 theres the wife knobbing another guy and Rick turns up. Deleted the rest, never bothered again lol |

I was just about to write something similar. Half way through a wank and it was very ‘meh’ so I couldn’t be bothered to finish.

Hmm the walking dead actually happy with myself I didn’t persevere with it like I will always usually try to do with tv.
Another thing is a book series called Day by Day first two I would recommend but the third just goes off to the deep-end becoming bizarre political fanfiction. |

Yes the accents were terrible, the acting was crap & storyline exhaustingly burnt out. Ive tried to like it but just cant. |

All soaps they bore me to tears and all the real housewives of anywhere so false and argumentative for tv load manufacturerd garbage don’t get me started on the only way is Essex Chelsea Bognor Regis and zzzzzzz  |

I put myself through Ozark , watched the full 1st series then at the start of the 2nd Series they went back before the start of the 1st one , l just switched it off , have no time whatsoever for that crap , I'll watch a series no problem but when they go back after the 1st series l simply lose interest, that's just me l suppose . |
