TRT- Testosterone Replacement Therapy

After spending a long time with my doctor about depression, lack of labido, energy and generally feeling like shit both physically and mentally we finally found out I have low testosterone levels so now I am on testosterone replacement therapy.
At first I didn't really feel any change but after a couple months I feel amazing. A real change in both character and energy. One change is my sex drive. It has gone through the fucking roof. I have not felt like this for over 10 years. Now the doctor said this would happen but by good I have missed this feeling.
Out of curiosity out of all the men on here , what has been the main difference in life in TRT?

I was prescribed the Testosterone gel but stopped using it as I had some side effects from it.
How are you getting on with it?

With the gel, I've only ever heard positive things in relation to better mood, energy levels and libido. Your nuts shrink though but you're too busy shagging to notice  |

Your nuts only really ever shrink on large doses. TRT is only ever there to replace what your no longer producing so it will only produce smaller nuts if you take more than recommend. |

May I ask if you’re injecting or using spray/gel.
Our own experiences with injecting daily were tough- I admire anyone who does that just like I admire women who do it on IVF.
I’m also pleased your doctors figured it out and didn’t just try to labels it as a psychological problem. Not all GPS are that informed.

I inject once a week. It's pretty simple really. Though I back fill so I can inject into my shoulder as I hated the glutes and quads. Bigger needle in those areas.
It was not as simple as you may think. It took a few months to get to a diagnosis and deciding on the right treatment. |

You can still get testicular atrophy on TRT doses |

Same here. I became far more irritable (well, more than usual!)
Also my body hair which is blonde and very fine became coarser and darker 
However, my libido went through the roof.
Maybe I should try again, call myself Vic and buy a lawnmower

Mine may have become Brussels sprout sized over time.
I might give it another go. I read that some women apply it every other day.

I think it’s dose dependant. As above, 3-4mg daily isn’t much.
For comparison, a basic cycle for a female athlete looking to use test might be 50-100mg every 2 days. |

Can speak on effects but I’d see a doctor. Hormones are serious stuff, not to be messed with coz you want the horn. You could really hurt yourself, plus who knows what your getting if you are getting them online with no prescription

I’ve used a constant 200mg a week for years now, zero side effects that I’ve seen apart from the obvious atrophy but I’ve already had kids don’t want more unless I meet someone amazing.
Are the girls here using test okay with the other androgenic effects? My careers in the fitness industry so hormonal use is common. The ladies normally opt for Anavar in that industry but I don’t know if you’d get the same clit growth or sex drive benefits if that’s what you’re looking for |

Anavar is considered the gold standard for women because it’s so mild
But the draw backs are that 1st it’s an oral, so liver takes a beating. And 2nd if it’s from illicit means it’s often just winstrol labelled as var

I disagree, 200mg is slightly over a male trt dose the dr would prescribe at 250mg every 2 weeks. I use a test blend of ester‘s with varying half life’s. Risks are non existent to minimal really. Male hormone replacement is just demonised for some reason. |

Very low mate in my world!! I’ve been in the fitness industry with published articles since 2003. I don’t blast and cruise I stay on constantly at a low dose, I’m not exactly strict with my schedule it can be 1 or 2 week I can tell by how I feel on myself normally. Your natural hormones fluctuate massively anyway through the day, it’s not as important as people think if you’re using long esters your miles more stable anyway. A few of my friends are pros from the 90’s you’d have a heart attack if I told you the doses they used along side cutting agents like DNP growth and slin. |
