It's because they have age preferences and just don't want to fuck someone who is over those. It's nothing to do with thinking there is no life left in anyone over 50,it's just what their preferences are.
I know I shortened mine down ages ago because a lot of men were claiming to be in their 50's but were well in their 60s or older.I got fed up of that and they thinking they could just ignore my preferences so I shortened my and if I like a profile outside of my preferences I will make first contact with them. |

I’m in my 50s and to be honest I am feeling it a bit nowadays.
But I can still outrun lots of folk younger than me and I have stamina to work hard.
Above all though, I have an outlook that is one of life still has a lot to offer and I embrace that.  |

I'm genuinely 67 and I joined when I was mid 50s.
Meets have slowed down, possibly Covid, but also my age.
So many guys lie, some people add on a few years and think that's your real age as opposed to your fab age.
I think if you lie about that what else are you lying about ? |

Like most ppl will say a certain age range is a preference just like for younger ppl older ppl may have kids their age and find that strange to be sleeping with someone that young...goes the same for older folk most younger ones don't wanna be with someone same age as their parents..its all about preferences and attraction...surely there's ppl on fab you wouldn't wanna be with for your own reasons...

I do understand the flip side of this. I don't care how stunning someone may be I won't be meeting anyone even close to my daughters ages. If that's classed as ageist then I'm guilty but it's my preference.

The problem I have on here as one of the really old brigade is that frequently when I have messaged someone I get a snotty reply back say you are much too old for me/us. My response is a not too polite suggestion that they change their age settings from 18- 99 to something more appropriate, I am then blocked. |

Well, if you are supposed to be past it at 50 I must be missing something here. Although my preference is for around my own age group, my ego got a serious boost when it emerged that three sexy young students on here set themselves an end of term challenge to pull a mature guy. I'm in the 50 club. I set my lower age limit at 30. Actually, I'm gonna make it higher, not because I have a negative opinion of younger people, I just wouldn't feel right meeting, or trying to meet some lady the sameish age as my eldest daughter. Just a personal preference. |

"I know I shortened mine down ages ago because a lot of men were claiming to be in their 50's but were well in their 60s or older.I got fed up of that and they thinking they could just ignore my preferences so I shortened my and if I like a profile outside of my preferences I will make first contact with them.
This for me too.
I’d quite happily have an upper age as I prefer an older fella, but sadly on here too many knock years off thinking nobody can tell from pics. But we can. So I tend to perve older profiles myself.

We go to clubs and look around fab and feel we’re in better shape than some in their 30s and 40s . It’s not age it’s how you look after yourself although we have had some disappointments with guys in their 50s who seem to struggle without the little blue pill |

To be fair, when i was 20 someone in their 50s seemed ancient to me and the idea of them having intimacy was off the cards. Society has progressed, a littl.
I realise that age is merely a number and nothing more hiwever i think i still have to consider how others may perceive older people from their current position in lifes journey, as i did when i was at that point. |

"I'm in the 50 club. I set my lower age limit at 30. Actually, I'm gonna make it higher, not because I have a negative opinion of younger people, I just wouldn't feel right meeting, or trying to meet some lady the sameish age as my eldest daughter. Just a personal preference. "
I have my lower age limit set closer to my own age for the same reason. I have a wean in their 30's now and it just doesn't sit comfortably with me. |

I sometimes look at a profile I've seen in the forum, fab a photo, then see their age and I'm not gonna lie, I feel a but guilty afterwards and feel a bit awkward. |
