If you can afford Porsche servicing costs then the Porsche.
Range/land rovers are one of the most unreliable vehicles on the road.
People only buy them as a status symbol.
Very few are actually used off road. |

Just sold my defender, being collected on Saturday, only had it 2 years (it's 25 years old) but selling at 5k profit as they are wanted more than the new ones.
Yes it's used off road, most cars sink if go past the end my drive towards back of the property especially my friends cayenne |

Couple of choices. Aston Martin Vantage either the 4.3 or 4.7 (pre 'modern' facelift). Looking at the 2005-2009 model years. I'll take a manual.
Porsche Cayman. Mid-range engine layout handling and a good one can be had for 20k. I actually prefer it's looks to the 911. Manual. |

I don't like big cars like 4x4's
I find them vulgar somehow
They have little use in this country so are invariably just expressions of status
If you live on a farm, in the wilds, fair enough, if you live on a suburban estate and use them to get into town and back, just completely unnecessary

none of the aboue, never understood why people borrow money to pay for something thats going down in value, and if you arent borrowing the money then keep it n the bank and make money, drive a cheap car, its not all about the image, and new cars arent better than old ones |

One pick up a 2015-16 Range Rover
And then pick up a lsx 545 and wack on a couple off 66mm turbos
And boom 1500hp for about 28-30k and will piss on 90% off cars on the uk roads |

You can’t take it with you?
Spend your cash.
Look the shit.
Purchase extravagant items.
Live and enjoy your life.
But not in a Range Rover or a Porsche. |

Keep it in the bank and earn money? You’ve seen the interest rates, right? Not even close to keeping up with inflation |

"What car would you choose
Rangerover sport. Porsche Cayenne "
Saw a RangeRover sport yesterday and just thought “why”? RangeRovers were originally built to be driven in the countryside over rough terrain, can they still do that at 117mph? Bit of a bumpy ride eh?! |

Ahh I have just the thing for you my man, behold the mighty Toyota Hilux. Just think, when the bbc shows you footage of a war what are they driving with a machine gun mounted to ? The hilux
if you want to drive down a set of steps, hey presto the thing will keep going.
If you want to drive through too gears production office, it won’t let you down.
If you forget we’re you park it and the sea come in and washes it out, don’t worry it will start.
Even if you park it on top of a block of flats being demolished it will start and drive away |

Carry 4 people and be able to do long journeys

Would not have ever again Range Rover Sport 1.9 diesel automatic. Sold mine end 2020. This due to timing chain failure at 34K miles. This it would appear is a common fault on this model and others that use the same engine. Did not get any warning . I was lucky and had service plan , plus extra warranty for car. This was a 66 plate. Car off road for nearly two months. Only timing chain replaced. If I had to pay cost around £6000 or new engine would be about £10,000 |
