So this happens a lot. Guys with no pictures write a long message saying nice things. I feel a bit rude just ignore them, so I simply replied thank you. Then they think I'm interested and starttl asking to meet me. Seriously, how desperate do I need to be to meet a pictureless man, simply because he has a cock?

Yup, if someone is daft enough to do that - and more likely it will be a cut and paste message - I just block them

I tend not to reply to profiles with no pics on, as they have nothing to interest me and I've found same as you, you reply and they start asking to meet.
