Have you ever had someone pleasuring you and it starts to become painful fairly quickly.

It's a funny one, isn't it? I've defo put up with rough fingering or too hard clit sucking cos I don't want to hurt the other person's feelings. But aren't we doing both parties a disservice, then? We are unsatisfied/injured  and they head off thinking we loved it whereas perhaps a little guidance would have helped everyone, now and in the future.
I'm getting better at speaking up. Not being a dick about it. But guiding and suggesting.
