I have been listening to a Liverpool band called The Mysterines and the accompanying spotify radio. They're really good and all of the bands/ artists on the radio stream are new to me but very good.

listen to your music on a really good system and you find you suddenly have a whole new record collection as you hear things you've probably not heard before..

I bought Under The Covers by Tom Waits on a whim. It’s pretty much been my go to record to spin.

I do love a good random out of the blue find kind of music. Always happen when I'm out running as you're running along then a gem of a find comes alone and you're wrestling your phone out of your pocket to try and add it to your playlist lol multitasking at its finest lol

Always used to do that some times I’d have set play lists and others just everything on shuffle.

I sometimes still do random. Shuffle in car with iPod and omg 15000 tracks is a strange collection to go through find stuff I don’t remember and stuff I think why is that on but I never remove things so it’s very jumbled mix lol

Yeah, one thing I like about Spotify.. it plays music I think I may like and I look at the choice and go "nah" then it randomly plays and I get hooked. Sorry for doubting you Spotify lol
