All made in 3rd world countries but because it has a logo on, we'll bump the price x 1000

Much cheaper than the genuine article plus you can let the air out and put it back in the cupboard out the way.

Only downside is, it won’t do the washing-up.

Generic over the counter medicines. Look at the active ingredients in your preferred brand and find the own brand with the same active ingredient.

If the PL number on the generic box is the same as on the branded box then it is exactly the same product made by exactly the same company!

Even if the product licence for the generic is different the active ingredient is the same, though from a different manufacturer. To get a product licence the manufacturers have to prove bioequivalence.

Nope! There is no legal requirement to use a main dealer to service a car to maintain the warranty. You just need to prove it has been serviced to manufacturers requirements.

The Mk1 Superb was based on the extended Passat platform used for the longer wheelbase China only Passat. The Mk2 did indeed share the platform of the Audi A6 of that generation. The latest model is yet another iteration of the VAG MBQ platform which, strictly speaking, is shared technology rather than a shared platform.

All VAG products share components from major to minor, with each brand essential adding it’s own style, brand, and market position to the mix.

While Poundland are not noted for the quality of the products they sell I can recommend the Vido True wireless Earbuds (Get the black ones, not the white ones that look like a rip-off of Apple air pods, apparently the sound on those are quite muffled). For £10 they are excellent value and punch well above their weight. 'Ashens' on YouTube did a review on them a week or so ago, like him I bought 2 sets of the black ones.
