Doing it in your pants?

Does anyone else strip down to their smalls to clean the bathroom.

I do. It was commented on by my wife today (mid cleaning) as being “a bit odd”. She’s had ten years to get used to it, but still finds it strange.

My rationale is that I don’t want bleach or other unpleasantness splashing on to my clothing. The only alternative would be an overall or boiler suit of some sort, which seems even more weird.

Maybe a cleaner’s tabard… don’t think it would suit me, though.

So… is anyone else a (nearly) naked scrubber?

Oh, I am often naked when cleaning. Well, in my pants usually.

I just get too hot otherwise, particularly when hoovering.

Yeah same. I’m usually naked so I just jump in the shower straight away. Very refreshing and therapeutic

Nah I have tatty old house clothes for cleaning and chores so my good stuff doesn't get ruined.

Much like I don't want bleach on my good clobber, I don't want it on my skin either

I have tatty clothes, but I generally don’t use bleach, it’s not environmentally friendly.

I was going to say “I’m glad I’m not alone”, but given the views on show when I’m cleaning the loo, it’s probably best if I am alone!

Fair point re the bleach. I have dialled down my usage, but still use some for the bowl.

Ooh, didn’t know they did such a thing, so that’s now added to the shopping list!

I practically live in bra and panties when I’m at home I’m that freaking warm

I don’t feel comfortable totally naked but yeah .

You could potentially spot me in my bedroom cleaning half naked, if you walk past my main road, look up and wave

I don't use bleach not environmentally friendly, I tend to clean the shower naked, after I've showered.

I clean the shower naked because its easier to do it once you've finished showering

You must be a messy bathroom cleaner if you get everything all over your clothes

Just thorough. I wouldn’t say I’m getting visibly covered in anything, but there are undoubtedly micro droplets flying around.

I have to climb into my bath to reach the other side so usually strip to just a t-shirt and knickers to clean it
