If you are feeling down what's your go to thing.
Jump to: Newest in thread
My go to thing if I'm feeling down is cleaning, just makes me feel so much better and there's an end result. Hubby will go to the garage and do something or other, also music is another feel good thing for us both.
What's your pick me up thing. |

Go for a long walk above anything else. A bit of cake sometimes. Do a bit of baking. Clear the cupboards or the wardrobe of unwanted stuff. Cuddle with the doggie. Ring a good friend for a good natter. Put some nice music on and have a bit of a bop. All helps. |

I like to go to the gym. I just put my headphones on, blast some good music and just get in the zone. It keeps me distracted and endorphins are great for improving my mood. |

Music and a blanket on the couch. Maybe a nice bar of chocolate whilst curled up watching a film.
It mainly involves food, slobbing around and wallowing |

Sounds corny; but seeing my son smile or just happy generally uplifts my spirit. |

Sometimes I can be an emotional eater and I turn to chocolate or cake.
Majority of the time I head outdoors for a walk with Mr NBVN to talk through my feelings or I go alone for a run to the countryside with my music and forget about my troubles for a few hours.

"Open the garage door..
cover off the RS500 cosworth...
key in...
chase & status on...
High boost....
light the tyres up down the road "
I hope you let the oil get nice and warm before you bury the go pedal |

Stoke area |
A walk through a forest or sitting beside a stream are my ideal go to places. If the weather's rubbish , then a big bag of maltesers and a notebook and pen....write a to do list, a letter to a friend or a poem. |

Go for a walk. No music just me arguing with myself about how I got to this point in my life.
Or
Do a workout and use anger to get those weights moving
Or
Playlist and run my usual 4miles

Exercise! Running or kayaking usually but anything that gets my heart rate going really helps.
If a start the day with exercise of some form I often find I feel great for the rest of the day! |

If the weather is decent a walk down to the sea and a paddle along the waters edge.
If the weather is crappy then a good book and chocolate, or a phone call with a friend, or a dance round my lounge. |
