No she didn't want it made. I know, it's weird they were still able to isn't it?
I do feel a bit guilty for watching, for that reason, but I couldn't resist and I am enjoying it. I'd be really interested to know if she watches and how she feels about the show afterwards, as it's a really positive portrayal of her, she comes off well. Great casting choices too, I couldn't imagine Lily James in this part but the likeness is uncanny! |

Lily James reached out to her and everything. I still understand Pam not wanting it to be made, but from what I've seen and read it was done so to show she 100% was the victim in it all (I've not watched the show yet). Obviously the contradiction in that is just respect her in not making it.
I think she very likely is behind it in terms of showing her side of the things, but just having it brought up again is hard since it was such a traumatic part of her life. |

Great TV show. But yeah, the fact she apparently did not want it made into a TV show makes it a bit of an odd watch. It does a good job at showing the impact the tape had on her. Really good drama with many funny moments. |
