Although I am totally again the invasion of the Ukraine O wonder why we hear little on our news channels about the two pro Russia areas of the Ukraine.
Anyone from Eastern Europe cast a light on this or even an English scholar? |

"All news is filtered to suit their agenda. We will never truely be informed about what's going on in the world, only what they choose we should know. "
I think life is filtered. Every perspective is unique, shaped by our experiences and biases. We'll never have all perspectives, or be able to understand them all. We just do our best. |

I spent a long time talking to one of my Belorussian students yesterday. Very distressed. The news in Belarus is completely pro Russia, heavy propaganda and lots of false information circulating. I'd imagine it's the same in Donetsk etc. |

States feed the biggest propaganda wars, especially if they are looking to make substantial shifts in perception. The media have their own biases and influences, which may include financial backers, states etc.
We can only be as mindful and cautious as possible, to prevent us being victims |
