Or .. cover all your school text books with wallpaper or wrapping paper to protect them?
Or .. … etc
What else did you do as a kiddie that you don’t now .. ? |

Still do as well "
It's good for your hair and nails apparently. My Mum ate a cube of raw jelly a day and swore it made her nails stronger |

No I was told the undone jelly would give me a belly ache, was I lied to?
I used to cover my books in band and football posters. None of that individuality these days, just the corporate school logos.
I used dip my fingers in the pool of candle wax and give myself new finger tips.
I played football for more hours per week than a professional football does.

As a kid I miss finding porno mags in the bushes at the park. Seriously, how bad was it that someone in the park, where there were families, was huddled away with escort or razzle and a box of man size tissues? That's assuming they mopped up, but it would also explain all the pages that were cemented together |

Yes to all of these. Still do so with the jelly.
Plus, if I needed tracing paper for say, Geography maps homework, I'd improvise using the similar type Toilet paper (wasn't it Izal brand?) which was more ideal for tracing purposes than anything else!
In the kitchen, the highlight when mum was preparing cake mixes, was to lick the bowl clean after the mix had been put into the oven. Yum! |

I grew up in Stepney in London's East End in the 1970's so getting fags and booze was easy. Most small shop keepers didn't care and those that did accepted the excuse that your mum had sent you out for them.
Actually, that was sometimes true!
It's ironic that I don't smoke anymore and I haven't touched alcohol in almost a year |

Me and my best mate used to make up a football league with actual teams from the First Division (now Premiership). Fixtures were recorded in notebooks and match results based on a dice roll. We rolled single dice for each team. 6 was 0. I still have one notebook! |
