You are alone but not lonely because you fill your days with activity you enjoy and enjoy the thoughts of your activities.
That’s living the dream for everyone within themselves. |

Doing nothing and enjoying your own company is essential to not feeling lonely sometimes. |

"Does that make sense and are you also in the same boat? One can be on your own but not feel alone. I dont really feel alone as I have so much to do. I like the single life "
100% get you. For many years I was together but completely alone. I much prefer the flip side of it!!!!

I hear you Shag. Sometimes I feel truly alone, but that gets rarer as I get older, I have things to do and enjoy my own company and having space.
Is that a good thing though? That’s the question I ask myself. Could life be more if I was sharing it? |

I'm on my own and I sometimes feel lonely. But I've learnt to accept it now, I've walked away from fairweather friendships as I prefer go be alone than get the odd text or call , even at weekend a friend rang to see how I was abd it was all about her and her partner, what they had been doing and all his friends etc

"I'm happy with my own company and occasionally i feel alone and miss having someone special in my life.
I've also been surrounded by people and felt the loneliest person ever.
That hurts lots.
" That is good you are happy too and yes, having someone would be good as well |

Cannot bear people like this! Phasing them out is such a good feeling and funnily enough you don’t hear from them anyway beyond ignoring!
To be alone and lonely, used to be like that until you get to know yourself, take yourself on mini breaks and “dates”. |

I feel exactly the same. Probably because I'm selfish |
