Tonight is the night of the Great British Bake Off final, so who do you want to win?

I want Brendan to win as I love his retro style, although will be a close call between him and James

Brendan plays it safe though with some of his decoration choices! I want James to win, his gingerbread barn/shed was genius and his bike was rather brilliant last week.

I'm just busy getting all unnecessary over the thought of James and john!

After john called James a minx I nearly swooned.

So if Brendan wins can I be the consolation prize?

I don't know if it was on purpose but the way the camera kept cutting to show Brendan looking at the others, as if he was thinking of killing them in their sleep

I did find him a bit 'creepy'

Kind of a sinister Kenneth Williams / Hinge & Bracket science experiment

John did really well, didn't see that one coming I thought Brendan would win.

Might have to try baking fondant fancies now as they looked lovely.

John had to win. Brendan was too obvious, yeah he had great knowledge and could bake but I felt he was just too "safe". Oh how I love baking!!!

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

The Scouts were baking tonight as well.

I think all the men should put up baked goods avatars to show off their skills.

Bussy's right, baking is the new requirement hoop for single men to jump through.

Perfect!

Hope you're up to it though, I'm a busy bunny

Am I the only one who thought the show stopper was like a major therapy session?

Brendan: reconciling his Irish family with his life choices after 30 years

John: heaven and hell, hell so much bigger and his fears that he's not capable or good enough so much bigger than his confidence.

James: grand designs, but never actually practised it, reasonably confident that it'll work cos it does most of the time...

And who knew John could get a first in law AND compete during his final exams!

...and James became a doctor!

Brains and baking skills...winning combination.
