Fun fact. Most oranges are green.
Boring fact: the name comes from its Spanish name Naranja (prom. Naranga) which to our English tongue became A Narage … then An Orange.
The colour orange was always called Red until oranges came over then things of that colour were referred to being “red like an orange” then Orange red” then just oragne. |
