Mrs S has a week full of job interviewing as she prepares for redundancy. Neither of us have ever been out of work before and don’t wish to begin now. Any positive energy, support, etc will be gratefully accepted. She has her own profile here, so she’ll see this too. |

Hope all goes well for you both and work sorts itself out for both
On the lighter side trying to get tickets for cup final on Sunday is impossible |

Hello Mrs S!
I hope that your job interview goes well for you, everything crossed and sending lots of positive thoughts in your direction. You'll ace it and other well meaning, slightly cliched sayings.

Job hunting is hard but massively rewarding once you land that role.
Remember, interviews are two way and not you having to impress them only.
You've got this and the best of luck |

~positive vibes~
Don't define yourself by your work.
If you have the opportunity take some time to regroup.
Don't dismiss alternatives
Don't take the first job offered unless you really want to.
Redundancy isn't a reflection on you personally, it's a soulless process and decisions are made without thought to the people affected. You're not worth any less because of it. |

Hey there. Had a similar experience just before Christmas. It’s never a good time to go through that process, but…it sounds like she’s busy with interview prep and attending so that’s great.
Also, remember that an interview is to find out if you like them too, it’s not all one direction.
She’ll be fine |

Good luck in your job hunting! You will get something. I lost my job due to the pandemic and after endless applications I've got an offer! So with perseverance it can be done. Just don't let any rejections get you down, I know it's hard though but there's something out there just perfect for you. All the best! x |

Change is scary and a challenging process. I hope you can both honour that as calmly as possible and that the universe swings some good life improving opportunities to you |

Best of luck Mr and Mrs S! Change might be scary but rather than shy away, grab it by the giggleberries and face it head on. I'm sure she'll knock and interview out of the park, the worst they can say is no! Sending good vibes your way |

Thank you all, you bunch of wonderful folk. She has tried to post to thank you herself but I’m assuming some form of forum software by-law is preventing her from doing so.
So I’m sending many thanks on her behalf. |
