Red flag, green flag

We hear a lot about red flags to when it comes to meeting people. Not to mention getting into a relationship and dating.

But let’s keep it positive and talk about green flags.

What behaviours do you look for? Or that you have seen and gone, fuck yes!!!

*They could be something that someone else would see as a red flag*

As always play nicely

This is a good one. If they talk about other people negatively then they will be talking about you like that too

.

Wittiness and a way with words that I find amusing/sexy.

Kindness/respectful behaviour to everyone, not just those they want to fuck.

Dorkiness/passionate about something, even if it's not something I particularly enjoy/know about. I like seeing someone's eyes come alive and listening to/reading them waxing lyrically.

Being passionate about something is so attractive. When they just light up and ramble on. I could listen all day

On a mooch

How they interact with others. Example, courteous to hospitality staff, boils my blood more than people being rude, takes nothing to look at the person when ordering or a please & thank you.

Huge green flag for me: maintains a decent relationship with at least one ex (especially if they have kids).

Everyone can have a psycho or two in their past (lord knows I do myself), but if every single person they've been with is a psycho I start looking for the common denominator.

green flags for me are:

long messages sent to me.

confirmation of meet a few hours in advance.

quick response to the message I sent to them.

Red flags

Short message such as "ok", "definitely", "great". This is a strong indication that they are not interested. Don't message any further regardless what they say.

They do not read your message, but they log in and out. They don't want to be rude to ignore you, but they want to ignore you.

Asking for more pictures close to a meet, why do you need more pictures if you are going to see the real person in a few hours?

Nice thought out messages.

Continuous conversation (not like everyday but it's nice to know that if they want to talk to me they will. I'm not going to continuously chase someone when it looks like they can't be bothered. Done enough of that before.)

Making me feel at ease and be able to make me laugh. Love a good sense of humour.

Well being honest...................

Green Flags

Large sumptuous buzzers

A womanly proportionate shape to compliment the above.

Likes a pint or three of Guinness whilst watching the rugby.

Happy to engage in intelligent conversation on many subjects but mainly sport, specifically rugby football and cricket.

Happy to come on holiday to the Caribbean with me to watch the cricket.

Can serve up a full English at anytime of the day.

Good at gardening specifically mowing a large lawn.

Good at keeping bathroom tiles clean especially the grouting.

Lover of red high heels with ankle straps.

Red Flags

Has or wants to watch any Bridget Jones films.

Doesn’t understand the offside and LBW rules as they currently stand.

Does not like ironing.

An aversion to heavy metal and spending 4 days living like a refugee at the download festival.

Packs baby wipes and hand moisturiser for said festival.

Always banging on about foreplay when the champions league is on.

I know what you’re thinking I am just an old romantic fool .........

Why is negativity looked down upon so much? More often than not its a vent of frustration and annoyance. It is a release of emotions.

Yeah, sure if that is all they do then it's not appealing. But the same goes for that fake and forced positivity bullshit.

Give me somebody who is willing to share their emotions and not suppress it by stacking up "positivity" on top of it all the time. It is unhealthy and goes against us wanting to share emotions. Too much of either and none of the other is irritating as fuck.

The context and situation revolving around such negativity is huge. Negative is not the same as hate and malice.

If you're talking about relationships then someone who's intelligent, funny and easy to talk to. Kindness and being considerate are also important.

For fab meets then it'd be someone reliable who will turn up and won't try anything unpleasant like cuckolding or trying to not use a condom

Biggest Green flag for me is when a man doesn't push me. Doesn't push for info, to be friends, for more photos, to meet up. Just happy to enjoy getting to know me.

Home

Geekiness/nerdiness/intense passion about a specific area of interest - even if it is something that I know nothing about I love watching them get involved and animated about their subject

An interesting face - not always conventionally handsome/pretty but they have 'something' unique about their face that draws me to them (often I cannot describe what it is)

MJ xx

La la land

Green flag for me is the ability to communicate and discuss things in a reasonable manner. I also think there are lots of amber flags which are often not spoken about.
