It's October!

We have Halloween and bonfire night to get through yet.

Presents shouldn't be wrapped until a week before Christmas and cards just shouldn't be sent.......Humbug!

Am I mean by sending e-cards to almost everyone?

Much easier for my work colleagues, and my family is scattered over the globe...

But parents and grandparents it's the real deal

You got me bang to rights!...lol

I just don't understand why people feel the need to spend endless amounts of money and make their houses look like Blackpool in the name of some bloke's birthday who may or may not have been born 2012 years ago.

Surely its better to just be be nice to people you care about all year round.

Deviant City

I've usually bought all my presents by now, but seriously considering only buying for my son and close family, eg mum & dad.

I'm no longer a Christian and dont want to celebrate it.

bah humbug

That doesn't make sense. But deciphering its meaning I guess you are being facetious.

I generally pick bits up through the year so most of mine is done. I also wrap gifts in aluminium foil because it looks nice and doesn't require 73 rolls of tape (and I'm lazy).

I spent a couple of days in Blackpool recently and I'm not particularly impressed with the lights (first time I've seen them). I think Melton Road in Leicester is more impressive during Diwali.
